This picture was taken from the hill behind Balameanach, on the edge of the Wilderness, just along from the Gribun Headland. It can produce the most awesome sunsets partly because the lack of hills to the northwest which can produce low levels of obscuring cloud at sunset, and also because of the sheer scale of the vista. There is nothing between this point and Greenland.
