This was captured at the tail end of winter as the spring twilight lengthens, in the middle of the loch is the island of Eorsa a good mile away and not easy to visit, here are a few images taken after a fast row, in mirror calm which then rapidly transformed into good chop.
If you want an adrenaline rush in life, try sitting in a bathtub a mile from shore in such conditions, the atmosphere is breathtaking!
The island is more round than she appears from perspective viewpoints, the shore is mostly sheer due to the severe pounding it gets in winter weather.
